FIELD SURVEY TECHNICIAN

Our team is growing! Greenway Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a Field Survey Technician. Applicants must be highly motivated, detailed oriented and able to travel as needed. We are looking for applicants who are ready for a career in the land surveying profession. Applicants must possess:

  • 0-2 years of Survey experience.
  • Survey experience in Boundary Surveys, Construction stakeout, topography is desired.
  • This position can be physically demanding and is primarily performed outdoors.
  • Position requires extended periods of standing and walking on uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment or loads weighing up to 50lbs.
  • General computer knowledge and the desire to learn new technology.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with office staff and property owners.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight based on the work load.
  • This position is responsible for daily operation and maintenance of survey equipment.
  • Maintaining survey vehicle and inventory of supplies.
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Applicant would work as part of a survey crew and assist in performing all aspects of boundary surveying, topographic surveys, construction stakeout and utility locations.
