PROJECT SUMMARY

Greenway provided engineering, surveying, and construction administration work for The Village at Orchard Ridge—a National Lutheran Home facility located on 131 acres in Frederick County, VA. It is a continuing care retirement community consisting of three apartment buildings, a special care facility, a commons and rental building, a chapel, and 80 cottages.

The owner required the project meet LEED certification criteria and required the cottage portion to be certified. The site also included construction plans for regional stormwater, local private roads, and public improvement VDOT road design for access to property.
